Zoltán Demján to speak at ENERGOFÓRUM® 2025

Legendary mountaineer and successful manager Zoltán Demján will be the keynote speaker at ENERGOFÓRUM® 2025.

In 1984, he reached the summit of Mount Everest (8,849 m) without supplemental oxygen. He is a Merited Master of Sport and one of the most prominent figures in Czechoslovak mountaineering. He also conquered other eight-thousanders, including Lhotse Shar (8,383 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). For over ten years, he served as CEO of the cement group Holcim Slovakia, drawing on his leadership experience from managing teams across seven countries. Today, he shares his expertise with top executives, helping them find balance in their lives. In his spare time, he is passionately dedicated to landscape photography.

Zoltán Demján will take the stage at ENERGOFÓRUM® 2025 — and you can be there!

In his talk, he will present two perspectives on success. In the first part, he will share his personal journey of reaching summits—both literally and figuratively—in the Tatras, Alps, and Himalayas. The second part will focus on how we achieve our own summits or goals. “I speak about universally valid principles that govern nature and can inspire people to seek balance in their lives. The key message is that the path we take to reach our goals is just as important as the goal itself. It is a prerequisite for long-term success and a balanced, harmonious life.”
