Customers of sféra, a.s. in the field of consulting and analyses in power industry are Železnice slovenskej republiky, Bratislava (Railways of the Slovak republic), Úrad pre reguláciu sieťových odvetví (Regulatory Office for Network Industries), Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a.s. (Slovak electricity transmission system) and Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave (Comenius University in Bratislava). We provided analyses and studies related with possibility of operation in liberalized electricity market in Slovakia. These studies dealing with current changes of energy legislation and following needed documents revision resulting from legislative changes and with deviation evaluation and possibilities of regulation.

XMtrade^®/ISOT - Organizing short-term electricity market

The XMtrade^®/ISOT information system portal supporting organization of short-term electricity market provides space for publishing public and private data. Public data are available without any limitations. Private data are available only to corresponding market participants, market operators, financial guarantee, controlling authority, external market organizer and operators of distribution system.

XMtrade^®/ISZO - Information system of deviation billing

XMtrade^®/ISZO is from April 1, 2009 in production operation. Registration of daily diagrams, deviation evaluation, data publication and financial guarantee works only in ISZO system. Diagrams could be registered in both formats ESS 3.1 and ESS 2.3 (early version only till June 30, 2009). Accredited certification services

Certificates issuing and delivery. Providing of other certification and accredited services of I.CA in Slovak republic. Registration authority (RA) sféra, a.s. is specialized to issue certificates for large community of people using certificates in their processes – participants of electricity market.

Registračná autorita (RA) sféra, a.s., je špecializované pracovisko, prostredníctvom ktorého sa zabezpečuje vydávanie certifikátov pre väčšiu komunitu osôb intenzívne využívajúcu certifikáty vo svojich procesoch - účastníkov elektronického trhu s elektrickou energiou.

Základné úlohy RA:

• Receiving the certificate applications
• Verification of applicant identity
• Delivery of certificates to holders

Using of common electronic signature (guaranteed is not required) is sufficient for participants in electricity market. Customers who already have the EVPU certificate can use it until the expiration date. After this date RA sféra will substitute it by new I.CA certificate. The substitution can be made in advance; the price of new certificate will be reducing by aliquot part of validity in month. I.CA recommend ICA.sign (cca 1300 €) instead of SW Entrust (not supported already) or possibility to use Qsign software(40 €) using in state administration in Slovak republic.
